Warhammer?

I was a medic in an army attacking a castle. I questioned our tactics. Why did we need to carry coffins off the boat before attacking? We captured an enemy soldier, and I was able to rig a microphone to imitate their orders. They followed the orders like the word of god. With control, we moved through the castle without opposition. Our enemies were increasingly monstrous. At one point, I was commanding armoured knights several stories tall to destroy the walls. I met with our commanders, old men in suits. We took an elevator to the roof. I threw our commander off the roof. Looking down, I saw a map of the castle. This was a meta dream. The attack was a tabletop war game I played as a child with three friends. The map was on a kitchen floor, drawn on paper. The war was meaningless. (Note: I never played a game like this when I was young. Even the autobiographical component was fictional)
