Generations

The old ones who mentored me are meeting behind closed doors with the young ones I have mentored. I get to watch the video. So grateful just to see Ted again, but jealous I'm not there. Ted and Murph lounge on a 60's chaise with Duncan. Chris stands nearby, holding a drink, dancing to 70's music. Connie, looking so young, 80's hairstyle, is dancing with Jennifer, plastic, red, party glasses in their hands. Ted is wearing an orange shirt, almost pink, an odd choice for him until I see everyone is wearing the same shirts. He is lying down, unable to sit up, but cracking jokes and telling stories all the same. The Parkinsons has got him bad now. So good that the young ones got to meet him, closing the loop. A little nervous of what stories he's told of me 🙂. Connie yells, in response to an inappropriate question: "ALL women WIN!" I remark, "Now we're getting a bit (thinking of the right word...settling on) Aggressive." Julius agrees quietly. His first rally. I am thinking he will be part of the next generation to come.
