Life's End Pub

I was in a pub with my significant other, as well as my parents. For some reason, we were all aware that this would be the last time we'd share each other's company. There were more people in the pub, reminiscing and imagining what came next. Everyone seemed very calm and accepting of their fate, but I wasn't ready to let go just yet. I thought there could be some way to prolong our time together. My significant other and I ventured upstairs (the pub was located in a basement. The main floor resembled an old hotel entrance). We brainstormed some ways around the imminent end, then went back downstairs to share with my parents. Unfortunately we were too late. They'd finished their drinks, said their goodbye's and faded into memories. I was distraught, but still not ready to let go of the last person I loved. We spent more time together, but it became more and more clear that this was it. If there was an after life or reincarnation, we wouldn't see each other there, or ever again. I buried my face into a pillow and quietly cried. A short while later, I stepped outside the front of the building for a smoke. I saw a group of kids speaking to something. It had the figure of a human, but no face. Whatever it was, it couldn't see me. It was as if the patrons of the establishment could see the world outside, but not be seen themselves. After that, everything is kind of a blur. I recall one last "Hurrah" with some friends, then that was it.
