War Plane?

I was by the seaside very early morning when I heard a big boom in the sky. I was not able to see what made the noise. It was very early and foggy. Right after that the sea made huge noises like something had dropped out of the sky. They seemed to be some kind of ships. I remained curious and told some people about it however nobody knew anything. The next morning I was startled by this boom again. I was able to make through the fog a huge Airplane taking off almost vertically towards the sea. It was Painted half red and half white. Once above the sea it dropped these ships in form of aircraft carriers. (They were smaller than an actual aircraft carrier) I could see them slam into the sea and the noise they made was incredible. It was very foggy but I was able to make them out. The ships were also Red and white stripes.
