Bound on a Boat

I was sitting in a small wooden boat with five total strangers in the middle of the ocean. Four of them and myself were restrained by cuffs and rope. The last stranger had the key. After drifting for some time the stranger with the key fell overboard. We were all screaming at him to get back in the boat, or throw us the key so we could free ourselves. One of the others, who's hands were cuffed but had free leg movement, jumped off the boat to get the key off the other man. Both of them drowned. The remaining three and I sat helplessly as the boat continued to travel in no particular direction. We were trying to find a middle ground between panic and being hopeful. One person passed out. The dream ended with the boat stuck in the middle of no where, no land in sight, and no hope of rescue.
