The Betrayal of an Innocent

A little girl, fair brown skin and curly hair, around 8 or 9, courts me to be her best friend (I am also a little girl, an orphan) after somehow sensing I have telekinetic powers. After weeks of friendship and myself opening up to her and finally revealing my special powers (which are usually always surrounded by a pink aura), she takes me to her house after she is fully aware of the extent of my gifts. I am greeted by her traditional African family who are proud of their young daughter for finally finding "the one" (me). They are involved in witchcraft and plan to rape and sacrifice me to the gods as a part of a ritual. I refuse and try to use my powers on the heathens, but as in a lot of my dreams, my powers fail because of self doubt. I refuse to give in however, much to my captors dismay. I am then dismissively shot, as I am not worth the trouble they are going through to sacrifice me. The little girl then vows to continue her mission and find another gifted young child like myself to sacrifice for her family. The funny thing about this dream is in reality, I am a 16 year old male.
