Puzzle at Dunkin Donuts

It’s late night at night and Alex and I are driving around. We pass a Dunkin Donuts and decide to go in to get something. There are two small, separate buildings in one small parking lot (the lot is on its own like the Chick-fil-A on Lantana). We decide to go into the building on the left. When we walk in, one of Alex’s friends (not really) are sitting at a table. We go and say hi. Her friend is with her two older brothers, one of them looks to be my age. He has medium length, curly brown hair (kind of like Tom Holland’s hair) and I find him to be kind of cute. He starts flirting with me a little bit, but I try to act clueless since I have a boyfriend but I also don’t want to make him feel bad. We wind up playing some sort of puzzle-board game (it reminds me of a game I played one time in Mr. Miller’s class in high school). The game’s box looks to have been originally white, but it’s very yellowed now. At first, I assume it’s from age, but then I get a whiff of cigarette smoke and I figure someone in their house must be a heavy smoker. Once we finish the game, they glue the pieces together, but since it’s not a normal puzzle, I ask “Don’t you need to be able to take it apart to play it again in the future?” They say no and don’t explain further.
