I had multiple dreams last night, but this one was the most vivid and random. I was helping some teachers supervise a group of young kids (aged 4-6). After watching some movies and playing games, the kids’ parents came to pick them up. The teachers called everyone to come sit at the front of the room. We all sat down, and I sat next to one young girl who had really enjoyed playing games with me. She was 6 and her name was Carlee. The whole room was quiet while one teacher explained that one kid had done something horrible. They said Carlee had snuck into a bar and grabbed a woman’s breasts without her permission. Footage was shown of a young kid stumbling around in a bar, but at no point did the child do anything wrong. It just looked lost. Besides, I could see it wasn’t Carlee. She started crying beside me and I watched in anger as the teacher carried on calling the child a horrible person and telling everyone to stay away from her. Carlee’s dad jumped up and spoke to the kids, telling them not to listen to everything they hear, and that they should go home with their parents. He told the kids that they are the majority here, and they can leave. They didn’t need to listen to the teachers. Sadly, the teachers were able to shut him up just by glaring at him and making him uncomfortable. Eventually, everyone got up to leave. I told Carlee that I did not believe the teachers, and gave her a hug. Her dad thanked me for having some common sense, and began to head home with his daughter. I got home and saw my sister watching the news. It was showing Carlee crying and saying she didn’t do anything, while being taken away in handcuffs. The teachers stood behind her, smirking. Even the news seemed to side with the teachers. My sister reacted with “Damn, this is crazy. Who’d have thought a young kid would get accused of something so stupid?” And I just turned around, clenched my fists, and said “This shit makes my blood boil”. Then I started walking away, and everything got lighter and lighter until everything was white. Then I woke up. Poor Carlee...
