i must be watching way too many teen romance shows because i’ve dreamt so many times that the guy i like asked me out (despite everyone knowing that we will never date bc he’s adorable and i ain’t shit.) but this dream has been coming back over and over for the past couple nights. - him and i are the only people in a classroom. my friend’s watching from a window in the door, filming whatever’s going on with me and this guy. he takes my hands, and immediately, he goes red. i feel my cheeks flush as that adorable smile of his appears suddenly on his lips. just like last time i dreamt of him, i couldn’t understand what he was saying, but i knew, from my friend’s hyper reaction, it was something important. he looked at me, this time not looking away in embarrassment. his eyes were fully fixed on mine. his mouth opened, then snapped shut, his face inched closer and closer to mine, and i could feel the heat of his breath. i was completely frozen in place, shocked at what was going on. i was also wondering where all of the teachers and other students were, but my thoughts quickly dissipated when his lips touched mine. through the thin, low quality door, i heard my friend squeal. his face was completely red, his eyes were looking in any direction but mine, i smiled at him, and then it all faded out. i’m just tryna figure out why i keep on dreaming about the same dude,, like i love him and all but for real?? wild.
