Mini bus

I was driving a white mini bus on a journey the back was full with about 20+ people. On the journey we kept encountering problems. The first was the gear stick came away in my hand. So I pulled over to the side of the road. There was a police man I asked him if this was normal and lifted it up for him to see. Everyone were annoyed with me for showing him and though he wouldn’t let us continue the journey but he came in to look at the problem and adjusted where it was located to a better position. He found a screw that he managed to attach and together we tightened it up which then locked it in place and we were able to continue the journey. Then after a while I somehow got into the wrong lane and had to go up the kerb carefully to get around an object when I got around it we were behind a load of traffic I decided to pull out to get around and then saw there was a broken down vehicle that was causing the problem. We continued the journey and I turned right up a hill it was so steep I was near the top but on second gear and needed to be in first if I changed gear we would be going backwards as it was soo steep
