Dead lambs

I was in what it looked like a house in the mountains. I was talking with the lady that lived in that house, which I have never met or seen before, and she was explaining how she was worried and sad because many of her little lambs were dying and she didn’t know what was causing it. She then proceeded to show me and we walked outside. As we started walking I noticed immediately a couple of lambs laid down together lifeless and another one further down about to die. I realized that there was no bad smell coming from the carcasses and I was surprised and asked her why. She responded that she didn’t know why that was happening but she thought that whatever was killing them was causing it. She also said that she was suspecting that someone was poisoning them.
