giant robot (taking over the world)

the only parts I remember from this crazy dream is being at my parents house and I'm pretty sure I was outside walking around without shoes on the side of the road and I stepped on what I thought at the time was a piece of glass I went back in to my parents to see what I stepped on and it was like a little piece of metal or something embedded into my skin. it had these strange markings on the metal but I wasn't able to remove it and was walking around with a limp. I decided it was a good time to jog and I started running around the neighborhood with each step hurting more and more. I remember looking at each house as I ran past it looking into yards, looking down at my feet on the road. when I got back to my house I looked at my foot to see the damage I done from jogging and what I saw on my foot is incredibly hard to describe it was rectangular, about the size of a tide pod and had a big red dot in the middle with more weird markings covering the rest of it. I was freaking out and crying and actually felt the pain and asked my parents to help me but they didn't know what to do. I think it fell off by itself and went I looked at what it was, it was like this spongy substance that was draining an abundance of my blood. Another part of dream I remember was at Joey's house but it wasn't Joey's house it looked different and there wasn't anyone there besides me and this one mysterious person. the place I was in was like the ruins of a old building that looked like it recently burnt down and destroyed the walls were still there but there was huge holes in them which I was able to see into each room. it was dark and smokey and I heard someone else in the ruins with me going through garbage piles on the ground like he was frantically looking for around something, I got a weird feeling to not let them see me so I stayed low spying on what they was doing. these people ran up I think and started fighting this figure and I got scared and ran to my parents house nextdoor. I went inside and ran to my old bedroom where I can see through my window what was happening nextdoor and I remember looking past the small wooded area between our houses, seeing multiple light blue lasers shooting out of Joey's house into the sky along with loud crashing noises and booming and I felt the ground shaking it was really fogy or smokey and it was dark around the area but there was some type of light coming from the sky lighting around the area. it was like a futuristic battle scene and it was very scary and very real and very loud. I think at that point I passed out or fell asleep in my dream and when I woke up I rushed to the window to see what happened. at this point it was day time and there was a floating giant rectangular robot type thing that had one big red eye, taller than the tallest trees with long tentacle arms that was destroying everything in it's path. at that point I thought in my head that those people that went after that mysterious person lost the battle, and I was probably suppose to help them. I ran to my dad who was sitting on the couch the room over and said something like this thing has taken over and is going to destroy the world and he just nod his head with a terrified look on his face. I remember hearing loud crashing noises followed by a very strange ear curdleing waaaaaaa type sound and the terrible sound of people screaming and crying from a distance. the entire ground was rattling with every step the creature took with the very real fear that the beast was going to break through my roof or destroy my house at any moment and I couldnt do anything about it. I woke myself up from the dream because I got to scared.
