Lost In both New York and Hawaii

Last night I had a dream where I was with Jack and Kamryn right next to this government building. Me and Jack were sitting on this black marble fountain ledge. Kamryn says good bye and heads off inside the building. Jack turns to me and says “You forgot to say Happy Birthday!!” And I was like :0 so I ran into the building to follow her to New York. I skip the plane ride scene apparently and I’m searching for her in NY. I’m in this high up building at night talking to this one person about Kamryn’s schedule as she’s very busy as an influencer, or something. Like Lisa Simpson type character I guess. My Mom calls me pissed, saying that she and my family have been looking for me everywhere. I tell her I’m in New York and the line goes down. Then suddenly, I’m at a rural ish intersection. I’m not in a car but I’m trying to turn onto this road on my left, but the white arrows say I can only go straight and right. There are other cars there, so I have to wait to got straight, then go to the left street. I’m running on the side so cars won’t hit me. The sun is rising, and I realize I’m on a mountain side right next to the beach. There’s a mansion on the left side of the road up high, and a little overhang comes out behind it. I could feel the wind in my hair. I wish I could show you all this part of my dream. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I keep running, and by midday I reach a long, narrow, wooden, dark salmon colored but the paint was chipping, not very secure stair case, that isn’t straight, it was actually super wonky. By this point I was at the bottom of the beach trying to go up. I get a little bit up but this little girl stops me, she looks about 7. She’s a little asian girl with bobbed hair, oval glasses and a white dress. I’m sitting on the stairs, crying, as I don’t know where I am or where I’m going. I don’t know what to do, so I tell her simply that I don’t know where I am. She tells me she’ll be right back. She leaves for the marketplace and comes back with used teabags, all varying types. She hangs it around my neck and gently rubs the tea over my eyes. The mixture of scents and the feeling of cold teabags on my eyes make me feel much better. She takes me to her house. She’s all alone at home. We eat some of her Mom’s pumpkin pie. (I wish I could show you this part of my dream too. The house was full of nicknacks, it was full of light and I truly felt as though this was home.) We played and laughed around a bit. I had so much fun with her, and I felt as though she was my little sister. I changed into some other clothes, a black tshirt that I tied into a knot at the side and a skirt that was light weight and ended mid calf, it was red/orange and had beautiful patterns on it. I realized I recognized this house as I had been there before, and the little girl was super shocked to find out that I knew her family, as they were family friends of mine. [I had somehow been to this house before without having been to the state? It’s weird] It soon became night and the little girl’s mother came home, Tina Chung. Or Mrs Chung. [Except in my dream she looked Korean, despite the fact in real life she’s from Guam] Mrs. Chung came home with a bunch of her slightly tipsy friends, as they all went to the hot-tub and drank together or something. She saw me and sighed in exasperation. I smiled and waved sheepishly. She walked with this guy she clearly liked into the kitchen and I followed. He was going to grab a piece of pumpkin pie, but Mrs Chung clearly wanted him to have the banana bread she made as it’s been untouched. Mrs Chung called my Mom and told her where I was: Hawaii. Which baffled me because I really don’t remember getting on any planes. My Mom was just happy to know I was in good hands. I looked at the little girl, happy that I was soon going home but sad because I will really miss her. I held her hand, and that’s when I woke up.
