Back To The Future Musical Is Nothing Like Back To The Future

I was a kid at school again, but in the 2020s rather than the 2000s/2010s. I was on a school trip to see the touring version of the Back To The Future musical. For some reason, myself and my fellow students all thought it would be like Whose Line Is It Anyway where they ask for suggestions from the audience. This seemed to be confirmed when someone from the theatre passed around a piece of paper asking us to write our names on it for the actors to use. We went to our seats. We'd got front row seats. The musical started and it had nothing to do with Back To The Future whatsoever. In this version, the time machine was an antique clock originally owned by a friend of Biff Tannen's. Doc Brown drove Marty and Lorraine McFly to a supermarket where Doc found the antique clock.
