The Paulie Walnuts Hit

I am at the back of a theatre and there are two other people there. An old lady dressed in black like a Victorian maid and Paulie Walnuts from The Sopranos. Paulie is standing behind the last row of seats and is messing about with a rifle. Paulie is muttering to himself that he can't get the rifle to fire. So he takes the gun and walks over to the aisle on the right hand side and starts to walk down towards the stage. The old lady has walked down beforehand. I then see a man dressed very smartly in a suit talking to the audience. He is not on the stage but in front of the stage between it and the first row of seats, to the right hand side as I am looking down towards the stage. Paulie approaches the man and is still having problems with the gun. The old lady is standing just behind the man that Paulie approached and is shot accidentally in the stomach by Paulie. As she goes down Paulie shoots again and kills his target. People in the first row, also dressed smartly like the man who was shot, stand up and start to remonstrate with Paulie who calmly brushes aside their protests telling them it's business not personal. They don't seem overly aggressive, just angry and walk towards the exit still talking to Paulie about what he did. I then find myself outside walking uphill. It is daytime. I am talking to someone, a young guy with dark hair but not anyone I recognise. I know him to be a gangster. I explain my surprise at how the shot man's acquaintances casually accepted the situation and only sought explanation from Paulie as regards what he did. I can't remember the exact conversation but I repeated what was said between Paulie and the other men. I then explained that the discussion would sound way out of place to normal people like me, did it sound normal to him? He said of course, it's the life they lead.
