I need to open my eyes

Date: 5/10/2018

It was the 4th of July or something and there was fireworks going off. I was staring up at the sky while sitting in my driveway and I saw a shooting star. So I made a wish. And my wish was for everything in my life to be ok again (I’m going through a really tough time right now) Then I see another shooting star and I make the same wish. Then all of a sudden there’s like tons and tons of shooting stars. So I kept making the same wish. On my like 5th or 6th wish I had this sudden memory of a myth or like this legend that if you wished upon 5 or more shooting stars, you would be taken to a world where your wish is a reality. I looked to my left and saw a recently deceased neighbor standing in my yard and he was also making wishes. I could vaguely make out the words “I wish I hadn’t died” and he kind turned to me with tears in his eyes. Then I suddenly started feeling really light weight and there was this blinding white light that started to emit from the ground around me. So I ran into my house with my neighbor chasing after me. As soon as I stepped past the threshold I slammed the door shut before my neighbor could get to me. I stood facing the door and listened to him bang on the door trying to get me out. Then the light started to get brighter and brighter and basically engulfed me. I remember closing my eyes because it was so bright and hearing the bangs on the door and the voices of my neighbor and my parents for some reason. After a while things started to go silent, like I was being taken farther and farther from the door. Before things went completely silent, I heard my neighbor shout “if we don’t wake her up now she’s going to die.” After hearing that, everything went dead silent. I felt so calm and scared at the same time. Then suddenly I was in the basement of my house. I looked around and saw that everything was like glowing red. I looked at my hands and noticed that they looked the same. I looked up and saw 5 of my friends were in the room with me. They were also glowing One of them had asked me how I was and I said “terrible.” Another one asked me how I felt and I said “bad”. Then all the objects in the rooms and all 5 of the friends in the room turned blue. They started getting kinda aggressive and sad and I got scared and shouted “I’m just kidding I’m ok” And everything turned red again. Then I was at a lake or something and I was completely under the water far from the shore. I was just calmly floating in the middle of the lake and I was just breathing normally. Then this giant black snake with red eyes was in front of me. I didn’t really feel scared. I was more confused than anything. It flicked its tongue and kinda swam in a circle around me. It faced me again and said that I should stay there. I was super confused. Then I was at my school. I was standing at the little drop off place we have and I was facing the school buildings. One of my best friends came up next to me and grabbed my hand and asked me how I was (let’s call her Red). So red and I have been friends for years and she does everything she can to help me and make me feel safe and calm. So when she asked me how I was doing and held my hand, I felt completely relaxed and smiled for the first time because it felt so familiar and real. We walked into one of the school buildings and actually sat in the cafeteria at a table with like 4 other friends. We were all talking and laughing and I leaned my head onto red’s shoulder and she rested her head on mine. She gripped my hand and said that I shouldn’t be there. I kinda looked at her and was like “what do you mean?” And she said that I had to open my eyes and that it would be scary at first but for the best. So I did open my eyes. At first all I saw was white. Like heavens white light. Then I blinked and I was standing in the street across the street from my neighborhood. One of my friends (or now ex friend I should say...we’ll call her can) was standing with me. She said that I did the right thing by opening my eyes. Then can kinda recreated that one scene from frozen where Elsa made that huge snowflake in the sky and got rid of all the snow and ice, except when can did it she collected ash. And I remember seeing water which I assume was from the lake I was in earlier. So anyways, she raised her arms and ash started to like collect over us. Then it started to split into monsters and a huge snake...remember that guy? So the monsters started surrounding us and the snake kinda came down and hissed and said “how dare you all take her from us. She was going to be out new ruler” or something. I turned around and I saw red, the 5 friends from the basement, some friends I have in a class of mine...and my crush. I don’t remember exactly what this was but I do remember seeing two sirens and a random girl from my school sitting in a giant clam shell talking about something. After that all the monsters and the sirens disappeared. I turned to my group of friends and burst into tears. I kept saying I felt so lonely and that I was scared. Red hugged me and my crush walked over to me and hugged and Comforted me. He also got me lemonade which is weird because I hate lemonade...then we all went to his house and played in the attic or something. Quick note: every time I switched locations I had this self conscious feeling that I was dreaming. And I could feel my body shifting positions while I slept and dreamed. I was very aware I was dreaming and I couldn’t wake up
