Brake bag

Someone hit my car so I got a rental. But it wouldn't stop so I tried to slam on the brakes but the floor and pedals just became a plastic bag. I was hopelessly putting my foot down over and over again into this bag. I crashed the rental into a tree in this guys front yard. He was having some sort of BBQ party on his front lawn. He ran up & started yelling at me. I sensed his children were afraid of him. Don't remember what happened after that.
