Alien stuff?

Just a fragment of a dream: Dana had made a "machine" to remove something from animals that were either possessed or infected with alien stuff, making them act murderously and weirdly. It was really just a big piece of tinfoil that was kind of crumpled and ripped and you would hold it over then and pronounce some word loudly, like "remove!!!" And it would either cure or kill them.
