I was at a camp, which was close to another kids camp. we were playing football and I kicked it and it fell down a path. I followed it and it went into a river and down a waterfall. I swam through it and once I was at the bottom I noticed a small hug on the water and also about 200 feet away was the other kids camp. so i grabbed the ball and got to land and walked back up and played with my friends. later that week, we had to go in lockdown because there were threats of shooters on campus. we hid in a common room and before we knew it, we heard banging on the door. a girl a couple years older than me (probably 17) started crying and hyperventilating and I told her not to worry, because if they ended up getting in I knew a place where we could be safe for longer. I convinced her to let me take her, and when some of the gunman broke into the building, we ran out the back door through the trail. I told her we needed to go in the water, so i held onto her hand and we floated down the small waterfall and ended up near the hut. we opened the door, and there were 3 other survivors already in there so we joined them. we sat for about an hour when we heard the gunman outside. we all panicked, and someone in the room had a knife and stabbed all of them. we all ran up the hill next to the waterfall which was extremely difficult, but possible. I remembered the kids camp that was next to us, so I directed us that way and we hid in a big bunker with many other people. the gunman had been stopped and I finally just let it all out and cried my eyes out. (I woke up crying and all my blankets were on the ground).
