Post Apocalypse and Theater

We were in what looked like a beat up and abandoned warehouse from the outside but inside it was magnificent and full with supplies to last us years. Our handsome half octopus half man waist up instructor was giving us directions on how to manage the equipment. I was one of the ones who was ready to go and he started letting us bundle up in the front step. When I got outside my city was a more beat up version of what it was before with splatters of what looked like blood everywhere and decaying bodies. The man spoke in a serious tone, "Our mission is to supply our sister house with supplies you will at all times protect these 4 who will be carrying the supplies." I nodded and outside there was a mob of zombies which looked to be distracted by something taking no notice at the huge group of kids standing in front of the building. Once everyone was ready I walked out and they all seemed to be waiting for my orders as if I was their captain. I gulped and charged forward while some of the zombies took notice of the sudden movement and started walking in our direction. The group seemed scared and for a second I did too but my heartbeat started to increase and I pulled out a gun shooting zombies killing them with a single headshot until I ran out of bullets. Soon I was surrounded by the walking undead and I simply pulled out twin machetes and said, "Well time to go old school." I started severing heads and stabbing them in the head like it was no one's business. To the point where I was covered in Guts finally The last body fell and I lost my balance. Suddenly I felt my body falling forward off a cliff until I felt a hand grab me and pull me back. It was a guy I never seen before apparently he was the only other one brave enough to go into battle the others stayed huddled only killing zombies that came close. Soon we started moving forward at quick speeds that weren't even possible for humans, it was like we had been trained our whole lives to run. Me and the guy led the group all the way across town only slowing down to kill a couple of zombies in the way. Then we finally made it to the other warehouse and went in and it looked almost identical to ours except people seemed to be dying in there. They were putting a show on of what seemed to be Pinocchio to cheer them up but there was only two not sick people who were not taking care of the sick. So some of my people volunteered to help and we made the show go on and suddenly the sick people started cheering up and looking healthier as they were injected with syringed filled with a purple liquid.
