Soulless People in a White Void

Where I was and who I was with is very hazy. The world was being overrun by soulless people; they were naked with white-grey skin and their eyes and mouth were wide open like they were horrified, but they walked very slowly or crawled along the ground. I remember seeing them against a white void. I went to different “dungeon” like places, like in a videogame; one was a dilapidated ruin type place, another was a thick forest. I was with another person, and I do know there were others but I can’t remember anything about then. I was with a very serious and grumpy young man, who was on the journey with me. We had to find pedestals in each area that had one giant gold wrapped gem in a node. When I touched the gem, it would float out of the slot, but then go back in, and this somehow was key to stopping the “evil” that was unleashed. I had kind of a very tensiony crush on the guy I was with, but he seemed to completely ignore me. I also remember he had a ring that was split green and white around its band and its Green Lantern-esque ring head, and it feels significant, but I don’t know why. I found myself in a cave without my companion. I had just finished messing with the gem thing, and was going to leave. I felt very sad and lonely, I think? I could see through the mouth of the cave, the white void with the soulless people. I peeked out at them, knowing that if one saw me, it would try to grab me. Then I felt something in my ear. I felt a hard chunk of something inside it. I tried to pull it out, but ended up breaking it and pulling out small pieces, which looked like tiny pieces of stained glass. Finally, the last thing I pulled out, was another ring. This one was red and black, split around the band just like the other ring. I knew I could use it to make a single soulless person back to normal. I intended to use it to turn a good looking soulless into a real man and then make him my boyfriend 😆
