A confusing dream

Went to work and had to pick up kids at 4 but totally forgot because I had to wait for someone to leave work so I could put a happy birthday sign on their desk. When I realized this, I bolted home and then I let my 11 year old, drive my car. I remember two little dogs, one scared. Not sure why they were around. A vet that was doing dental work on a human patient. My nail broke off.
