lights in the sky

I was walking around my neighborhood at nightime. I was near this elementary school that is near my house, and on this street right next to it some random guy somehow ended up talking to me. I looked up at the sky and I saw green and white lights in the sky. they looked like stars but there were a lot in one area and it was apart of a giant spacecraft. I pointed to it and the guy wasnt suprised at all, he barley noticed it.
