Theo springs a leak

I was in a large, carpeted home and several people were standing around mingling. Suddenly my dog, Theo, let out a shrill scream. I looked in his direction to find him laying on his side, appearing to be hurt. I knelt by his side and noticed blood on the beige carpet, near his snout. I began to lift his head but he did it himself, with an angry look on his face. He sat up like normal but there was water shooting out one side of his nose. I realized the "blood" was not actually blood, but this water. I had mistaken it because the color was not clear against the beige carpet.
