It was winter break at my college. My college friend, Jack, asked me if I wanted a ride home. I told him that I lived all the way in DC, but he didn’t care. His dad pulled up in a white van, and Jack escorted me inside. While on my way home, I was getting sleepy, so I leaned on Jack’s shoulder. At first, I thought that he was going to push my head off of him. However, five seconds later, he wraps his arm around my waist and whispers, “I see you flirting.” I giggled as he kissed my forehead, and we remained in this position until we got home. Before I went into the house, which was apparently painted white, I asked him if we were official, and he said yes. I smile and kissed his lips gently. I told him that there is a ground rule for being my boyfriend, and that is meeting my parents before going out on dates. I took him inside of my house, and took him upstairs to my parents’ room, where they were watching “Black Panther”. I introduced him to my parents, and he was very polite. We watched the rest of the movie together. Afterwards, we ate dinner at home so that my parents can get to know him better. When we were done, I walked with Jack to the van and asked him if we have each other’s Snapchats. He said yes as he kissed my neck. I was so overwhelmed with joy that I kissed his lips again and wished him a Merry Christmas before he left. I woke up disappointed that it didn’t happen IRL, but elated that it happened in my dream because it was so romantic😍.
