Spider

First part I am giving a quote to my old boss Alan R. I don't recall what I am quoting for but he gets a quote from someone else as well then tells me he will go with mine. Second part I am sitting out front of what I think was a church. I am talking to another male who is sitting there. I notice the legs of a Huntsman Spider come out of the timber decking that we are sitting on. I use something to get the spider out and then hit it with the end of the head of a broom. I'm pretty sure I killed it. Then I do the same to another creature. I think it was an earwig.
