Were-creatures

I was a werewolf and my pack was at war with these creatures made of darkness. There was also a family of were-gorillas that I made friends with. I remember we had some ancient artifact the dark creatures needed and myself and a wereape were running for shelter while fighting off the creature. Cutscene to after the war: we were a huge alliance of werecreatures working together to protect ourselves and humanity while remaining hidden from the world at large
