The Eclipse of Creation

It was dark outside, and I was wandering around. I remembered hearing word of a solar eclipse. A few hours later I looked up and there was what looked like a hologram of the moon going behind the earth. As the earth was spinning I saw something that looked like a small constellation in the middle of the ocean with light connecting the dots, and then the constellation disappeared with a small island in roughly the same shape replacing it. It happened a few more times before stoping, and I've been thinking about it all morning and afternoon.
