Got a Second Apartment

I got another apartment but still had my current one. I was planning on doing this in real life but only when I got a much better job. So I was confused as to why I had two apartments now. What a terrible financial decision, I thought. My first apartment is $835 and this new dream apartment is $915, what was I thinking? The apartment was also very shitty. The entire thing was torn apart and filled with actual debris, as if a tornado had just run through it. To the side of the front door a huge piece of the wall was missing, so anyone could just look into my apartment. There was so much closet space though, I was so excited for that. I spent the night there with a couple friends. In the morning they were so concerned, saying that someone was banging on the door all night. I hadn't noticed. My landlord was a really overweight woman who met me out in the common area or outside, and she told me she would take personal offense if I didn't eat a breakfast that she just made. I had to go to work and anyway, I take medicine in the morning and I'm not allowed to eat for an hour after taking it, so I told her no and left.
