New shoes and a complicated translation

Manu floats in the air with a new pair of boots on. They're silver and reflective like Julie's Dr. Martins. His are already a little muddy and he's put a great deal of work into three identical translations he has on ripped out pieces of notebook paper. They have three lines each and are a little dirty. A friend of mine compliments his boots and says they wish they had the same.
