Outer space lucid

I've been lucid dreaming for a while but this has been one of the best dreams I've had. I fell asleep listening to an audio book about lucid dreaming called Dreaming Yourself Awake by B. Alan Wallace. I tried a technique where I lay on my back with my hands on my side while silently repeating in my head "am I dreaming?" I said it over and over until I dozed off. Suddenly I'm dreaming and I'm still thinking those words in my head. I check my unfamiliar surroundings and became lucid when I realize I'm dreaming. I decide to explore and I say out loud "take me back to the 70's". I was inside a house so I wasn't sure how I would know if I'm in the 70's until I see a console TV with cartoons playing. I decide to go through the TV screen. I can feel my head going through the screen. It feels squishy then I feel a vacuum as I get to the other side. It looked as if I was inside a lava lamp. I go back through the screen and into the living room where it is now dark. I look at my body and realize I am now a black &white cartoon. I want to continue exploring so I push my head through the door and I see the night sky full of stars so I say "fly to outer space!" I start flying slowly towards the stars in the horizon, slowly elevating. I command "fly faster!" I begin to fly fast and feel the leaves of a tree as I skim the top of it. I can feel the air get colder as I continue to fly faster and higher, to the point where I have to squint my eyes, so I say " give me goggles!" And suddenly I have some over my eyes and can see that I'm getting closer to breaking through the atmosphere and into space. I ask for a spacesuit and I notice I have an astronauts helmet just as I break the atmosphere and am floating in space then I woke up. When I awoke, I was still excited and wanted to go back to sleep and become lucid again but it didn't happen. That feeling of elation lasted most of my day.
