Birth

My good friend invited me over to her house. There was a big event happening, 4th of July perhaps. Everyone left to follow the party somewhere more exciting but she couldn't leave because her cow was going to give birth at any moment. I offered to stay with her rather then follow the party. She asked me to watch the cow while she went up to the house. As soon as she left, the cow made a long howl and the head of the calf appeared. She birthed the most beautiful white calf. Pure. Innocent.
