Escaping 2 Surf

Me and friend had to escape up east coast(?) and made it to a tropical beach town. Took the car and surfed some insanely big waves w friend or dad(?). Tried warning them as to why we had to run. Car chase ensued, we drove into the wild waves and the dream ended.
