Inception??

So today I tried lucid dreaming but it didn't work, but my dream was very trippy!! So I remember having some weird lame dream but i don't remember what it was about. Here's where it gets weird: I literally woke up from that dream in my dream. AND I went to this app to write about it!! I should have known it was a dream because my clock said 5:55 which was definitely not the time. So I think I'm getting closer to lucid dreaming. I know I didn't actually wake up because this is my first dream journal and it would have said i already made one. Then, I continued my everyday life. Then I had a few mini dreams after. I guess I had a party with my cheer team and our coaches wanted us to go crazy and make a mess for some reason but idk why. This is a bit fuzzy but I think in one of my dreams I was trying to get my dog to do these crazy tricks or something but it's hard to remember. In another one, I went to the mall with my friends and one of them wanted to break into a store I think but we wouldn't let her. We also bought a ton of makeup but got it practically for free. Then I woke up (unless I'm still dreaming) .
