My dream started off with me walking around my house as per my paranoid self checking to make sure all of my doors were locked. I was alone and I don't live in the best neighbor hood so it makes sense. I finally retreat to my room where I'm disrupted by the loud barking of my two dogs. They are two small lap dogs,with barks louder then their bites. I get up to investigate and make my way to the front door. I'm surprised to see one of my old friends from HS standing outside. I haven't seen or talked to this guy since I graduated. For some reason in my dream I had a bad feeling about it so I decided not to answer the door. I think it was because he was carrying a ladder and he nervously scanned the outside of my house as he attempted to see if anyone was home. After a short time he leaves. Somehow I get a gun and I wait for him to return which he does. When he returns I open the door and invite him in. Although he hasn't done or said much when I let him in I draw the gun out on him and demand an explanation from him. He explains how he was trying to kill my gf. When he says this my gf appears in the room and I have her watch him as I retreat to my room to retrieve something. As I'm in my room I try to get myself prepared to kill my friend who is after my gf. As I make my way back my friend and gf have transformed into my uncle and mom, respectively. Confused I question my uncles motive and he apologizes. It was some type of weird misunderstanding that no longer makes sense. I forgive him and I wake up.
