A Dream About An Old Friend

I’m with an old friend, K, and a bunch of our friends are at her house too. Everyone is drinking a lot and she has a home theater with about 20 theater seats inside her house. For some reason, everyone is taking turns leaving the movie room and going to take a shower. My friend is getting really near me and starts touching me even though I don’t want her to. I can feel myself tired and annoyed in the dream. Time skips. I’m in my friend’s bedroom with her and I’m angry. Without seeing it, I know that she has fingered me. She says that she’s sick and she had to go to the doctor a few days ago. I ask her what is wrong with her and she says she had some sort of illness that had to do with swollen glands in the neck, but equates to something like a bad cold. I’m even more annoyed because I’m afraid I’ll get sick now. It’s my turn to take a shower. The shower walls are made of dark brown tiles. The floor is made of beige tiles. As the water pours over me, I look down and see a huge splatter of blood on the shower floor. It mixes with water, diluting and flowing down the drain. Somehow, I believe this blood is coming from my urethra and I feel angry and nauseous again. The shower continues and more blood splatters the shower floor. I use my foot to push water onto it and watch it spin down the drain again. Time skips. I’m in the movie room again. The movie is just starting, even though it was on before. I feel drained, completely exhausted and think I’m already getting sick from my friend. I feel myself falling asleep. I wake up and it’s morning. Old friends and vague people are making fun of me for falling asleep during the movie. My body hurts. I had slept on the theater steps. I stand up, steady myself, and walk outside. It’s early morning and humid warm like summer. I start walking down the street. I pop my knuckles and my friend is there again beside me. She asks how I do that. I pop her knuckles by pulling on her fingers and tell her to be careful or she might become addicted to doing it. Then I wake up.
