Hit a kid

All I remember is driving along the interstate when I hit a kid that was between the ages of 4-6. I hit him and then all of a sudden I was next to him in the grass. I didn't know who the kid was. There was a blanket over his legs and every time I tried to move the blanket in order to help him, the bottom half of his body would just disappear.
