‘the dream’ dream

i fell in love with this guy that i kind of like in real life, and everybody who wanted us to get together cheered. then we flashed forward to our 80’s and we were sitting on the porch of our yellow beach house facing the ocean with our golden retriever running on the sand. we were happy. and that’s always been the dream for me.
