Morning swim

I was at my Grandparents old house that was right on the beach in New South Wales. I woke up and was doing morning physical training with a group of work colleagues. A workmate was running it and had organised an ocean swim at the beach. I was running late and was running down a large sand dune to get to the start. I could see the group down by the waters edge and out in the water a series of bouys that went out for about 2km. I remember a distinctive kink in the line of the bouys. I got to the group and remember thinking it was quite cold. I then realised that I only had budgie smugglers and no goggles. I asked my boss if I could quickly run up to my room to put on my wetsuit and get a set of googles. He gave me 15 minutes to do so. I quickly remember running to my room and was struggling getting my wetsuit on as I was sweating (anyone that has put on a swimming wetsuit can attest to this). I put on a pair of socks to help my legs slide into the wetsuit and then took them off when I was in. I sprinted back down in my wetsuit to the water pumping myself up to catch the group who had no doubt already started the swim. Once I got there, they were indeed in the water, but were instead playing water polo instead of the long swim out and back. I went to get in the water, then my alarm went off.
