the grey room

DATE IS NOR ACCURATE. I can't remember when I had this dream. ---- the entire premise of this dream is just weird and bizarre. I was walking outside and I came across a house with a fire truck in front of it. there were firefighters in yellow suits trying to extinguish a fire that was engulfing a house. I asked the firefighter what was going on and he simply answered "no. she didn't make it". at that point I still had no clue what was going on. somehow I was able to get into the house that was burning down. the entire room was grey and there was no furniture or lines separating the walls. it looked just like a smooth interior. it was all grey except for one small area in the back that was pink. it was a small closet. there was a short shelf at the top of the inside of the closet displaying several dolls on their stands. they each had unique names. I also remember looking at the clothes that were hanging up in the closet. there were some princess dresses made for playing dress up, and there were also some cute casual dresses along with some very small pairs of shoes. everything in here was made for a very small girl. I can remember thinking that the firefighter was intending to tell me that the young girl whom these things belonged to had died. I had no idea why it was the only colored area in the house though. and all of her belongings remained intact, although, thinking logically, they should have burned.
