So this one was interesting because the physical response in the dream made it feel so real: In the dream I got the impression that it’s common knowledge to everyone that the world is about to end. I don’t remember how it was ending. I don’t remember where I was but I know I was indoors in a house I don’t recognize. My brother came over and we were doing our own favorite activities before the end: I was at a desk writing and he was in another room-maybe reading or playing a game? Then all of a sudden it felt like there was less oxygen and it felt like I was choking. My brother and I rushed to each other and immediately sat on the ground in a very specific way: shoulder to shoulder, holding each others hands in a criss cross way (my right holds his right, left holds left). I bow my head and become peaceful even though my lungs feel like stones. Suddenly there’s a pop and sounds are muffled as if we’re thousands of miles under the ocean. The pressure was painful. The room heated up suddenly and everything around us burst into flames. I woke up and just stared at the ceiling marveling first at the sheer real ness of the memory of the pain in that dream but then at the peace I had in the end. Total acceptance.
