I Was A Ghost

I dreamt that I was in a superhero group with three other dream people. We were fighting a super villain who started to get the upper hand. He turned two of the members into dogs. It seemed that they now had the mind of a normal dog and they started to run down the street. I tried to call them but I had to keep fighting the villain because the other member and I were losing quickly. The villain turned the other member into an old lady who couldn't fight and had no memory of being a superhero. I was the only one left. I soon lost. Unlike the others, I wasn't transformed into anything. Instead, I lost my body and my spirit was supposed to be attached to a clock. The villain was going to take the clock as a prize of winning. The thing was, I wasn't in the clock like I was supposed to be. I was a ghost. I followed the villain to his home because I was afraid to stray too far away from the clock instead I was in some way bound to it. While I was at his house, I started to see exactly how this new form worked. If I concentrated, I could touch and move things or I could walk through things and move totally silent. I noticed that if I didn't focus on being silent, I would make noise as I walked. I decided I could use all this to my advantage. I stayed in the villain's house, trying to see how I could get my body back and/or waiting to attack. Some time passed and it was night. The villain had a friend over and also a neighbor over, who was uninvited. The neighbor was a girl from real life who I don't like. As soon as she walked in, she made eye contact with me. I panicked because no one was suppose to be able to see me. The villain and the other guest noticed she was starring at something. I ran upstairs and she followed. I ran and tried to disappear into a room. She could still see me. She said my name really loud and tried to talk to me and I kept telling her to shut up. Upon hearing my name, the villain came running into the room. He couldn't see me but in my state of panic I took a few steps back and made noise. The other guest guy came running at the same time so the villain thought the noise was caused by him running up the stairs. The two guys left and I told the girl to not say a thing. She went downstairs and I went into the guest room to try and get sleep. While I was lying in the bed, I heard that the guest was going to spend the night so I got out of the bed knowing he'd sleep there. I went back downstairs to listen and watch them. The three of them were in the kitchen talking. I went and stood and listened. The girl starred at me a bit and the villain was supicous once again. He started to move towards me and in fear I decided this is the time to attack. I make sure my fists could be felt and tried to hit him. I landed a blow before he grabbed my wrist. I realized how absurd the villain looked to the guest who just saw him fighting with seemingly nothing. I used my other free hand to launch a plate at the villain but I missed. It was at this point the girl left and the guy started to think something was going on. After my failed attempt at throwing a plate at him, he was somehow able to grab that wrist too. I started panicking because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't phase out of his grip and I figured this was part of his power. He moves my wrists to one hand and tried to find some flower or something to throw on me so he could track my location. Before he could do that, I kicked him and he let go. I took a few steps back and focused on being silent and invisible as the villain started to run through his house looking for me. When he ran upstairs, I took the opportunity to leave the house. I decided to give him time to calm down before I returned since I still hadn't found a way to become visible again. I had memories of these nightly walks in my dream. Apparently, one of my team members who had been turned into dogs had died and I would often walk to his grave. Once I left the house, I didn't bother to hide the sound of my footsteps. I didn't get far before I heard someone behind me. It was the guest guy and he was following me. I started to sprint and he started running too. I realized his was following the sound of me running through the gravel. I quickly stopped and so did he. He starred in my general direction. There were a few seconds of silence and he actually apologised. He said he didn't know his friend was super villain and was like. He also said he wanted to help me. I woke up.
