baby overboard

We were on the pontoon with a bunch of people and one lady had a little girl with her probably 2 years old. She was leaning over on the edge gate with her mother holding the gate shut. I was sitting next to her nervous and I tried to grab the back of the collar on her shirt in case she fell and next thing I knew she jumped out the back while we were moving. She missed the motor and was in the water and everyone freaked out. I was paralyzed for a couple seconds then a couple people jumped in and then I dove in and swim to her grabbing her and holding her with her head out of the water and swam back onto the boat. She had a life jacket on. She didn't even cry or look hurt or sad. She started hugging my face as I clung on to the ladder over the edge of the boat catching my breath. It was like a thank you for saving my life. I pulled my phone out of my wet pants. It wouldn't turn on but eventually it worked.
