I was laying down on the couch and I fell asleep. My eyes opened and I realised that I couldn't move. I had sleep paralysis. Usually, I don't experience any hallucinations, but this time I heard some whispering and giggling and a demonic voice growling into my right ear. I tried to wiggle my fingers to wake up my body, but I couldn't. Then I tried the other method of waking up, which is to try to speak. I took a deep breath, but then I realised I couldn't breathe deeply, so I focused on trying to get more air to try to speak. All of this took around what I would say is 10-15 seconds. My body snapped awake and I took a huge breath. Unfortunately, I fell right back asleep. Again, my eyes opened and I head the giggling and whispering and demonic voice, except there was more giggling, like they were laughing at me. I tried speaking and breathing again, and after a few seconds I woke up again. This time, I decided to move (to try and shake the sleepiness). I sat up, faced the TV, and ended up falling alseep. When I woke up this time, I saw a masked figure in a black hoodie. It appeared to be rummaging through a box, but I couldn't see it because a blanket was blocking my view. When it felt me looking at it, it turned to me and stared for a second, then continued to rummage through the box. It was a terrifying experience. I tried to wake myself up, but my body stayed still. I closed my eyes because I didn't want to see the masked figure. When I gained control of my body again, I kept my eyes closed and slowly moved a pillow up over my face to cover my eyes. I waited frozen with fear of the masked figure that might be waiting behind the pillow. After some seconds I removed the pillow and there was no maked figure or box. I decided it was time to stop experiencing sleep paralysis, so I got up.
