The race for the top

We were in a building in a waiting hall filled with people. there were six elevators, which were all closed. One of the people I was with told me we had to wait until one of them opened and then race to it. I wonderd why we couldn't sit in front of one to begin with, but they didn't all open at the same time so we might sit at the wrong one. When one opened we ran towards it and we were the first to enter it. It took two rides to get the whole group up, but for some reason other people were not really in a hurry yet. We got an explanation of where the toilets were and where the bar was, after which people started looking for the real way up, because we soon concluded these elevators were just the start. I went to the toilet first and they were really weirdly shaped and stuff. When I got back people were saying we had to go back and look for different elevators, because these were not the right ones. I wanted to look around first though and noticed stairs that went downstairs hidden behind a bookshelf with a sign that said 'up'. I went there, but was soon followed by others. We ended up in a maze of stairs, some going up, others down. Some were dummy stairs which you could fall of, of you did you were out of the game. I realised at this point I was a boy by the way, a slightly chubby boy with black hair. I think my name was Marcus. I climbed a ladder that was broken of at the top, but I could reach an almost invisible black rope from that point, which took me to a bigger ladder which hang from the ceiling, was really hard to climb and really high up. I was followed by two guys and we ended up at some table that also hung from the ceiling. The other two thought they had found the prize we had been looking for, some jewlery made of gold. I looked around at the other levels of the table though (it was like a wedding cake, four layers on which drinks and cheap deserts were placed) and found a note, describing in which drink I could find the real prize. I found it with ease and put it on my finger. That's when someone came up to us and told them I had won. The other two were angry and surprised, because they thought they had already found it. This is why they started to throw stuff of the table. This was really bad, because I had found a second, much more complicated note for which I needed specific kinds of drinks and deserts. I couldn't solve it in the end, because I couldn't find everything before waking up :(
