the ghost girl

My whole family was in a somewhat deserted location. We were on the highway at my mother's parents' house. It was getting dark. There was a young girl who was an extreme danger to us. She was a ghost or a supernatural being. She was wanting to kill us. She was fast and sneaky. First I was the only one being threatened by her, and that's why I ran to the highway. I had called the police, and I was overwhelmed with relief when they showed up. I ran into the arms of one of the officers. Later my family was there, and we called the police again. My cousin who is the same age as me and is clumsy was told to hold this girl and not let her escape. Later I looked at my cousin and noticed the girl was nowhere to be seen. I asked her where she was, and I saw the dawning look of horror on her face. So we were back where we started. I tried to call the police but they refused to come anymore. So the entire family just sat in a circle with our backs facing the circle so we could all keep watch. The sun was setting, and we had to come up with a plan. It was too dangerous to walk, so we sat.
