Moving to the City

Was looking apartments and town houses to buy in a big city. Went to one town house and fell in love with it as soon as I walked in. The town houses on this particular street were at least 2-3 times wider than actual ones. The street also had LOTS of restaurants, music shops, card/game shops as well as clothing retailers. It was early to mid February and slightly chilly, especially the wind. It was a beautiful sunny mid-morning without a cloud in the sky. Everything looked super clear and clean with no pollen or pollution. I was wearing a light tan and thin trench coat, red shirt, black dress pants and black high heels with red on the bottom. The 1st level had a massive entrance with a beautiful staircase and a vaulted ceiling. Towards the right of the entrance, were a study with dark green wallpaper emulating the 1800s style with dark wood half way down the walls. There were tropical looking plants everywhere and windows with flowing white lacy curtains at the front and back of the house. It also had beautiful dark wood floors and was well taken care of. The 2nd level had bedrooms and a nice large bathroom. It was very spacious and beautiful. The master bedroom had dark blue walls and very plush carpet. It had lots of space, rooms and toward the back of the 1st level, it had an extra room that I wanted to use as a music room. It could be separated by these pull out dividers. I immediately fell in love with the place and decided to buy it. It came to $107 a month with utilities because of this new family tax break program. I was extremely shocked at how low it was, then remembered I had to file taxes and get more tax breaks for a new baby I just had a few weeks ago in the dream. I was texting my husband (irl boyfriend I’ve recently started dating) and was telling him we can go ahead and start moving that afternoon. I just was super eager to move out my parents’ house. He was still living at his place with his parents too. Mom was being really passive aggressive and saying I could go ahead and take my pug too that afternoon. She was also saying something about not being able to come to her if I needed anything after I moved out. Was driving back to my place to start grabbing essentials and everything I could fit in my car. There were roads everywhere but not bad traffic since there were more roads than normal for a city. I had to cross a 6 way bridge. It looked like a cross between the Golden Gate Bridge and Manhattan Bridge. My room already was being converted to a storage room with those modular shelves you can mount directly to the wall. The walls were also a dark blue and the room was already being cluttered up by my mom’s stuff. I woke up smiling which isn’t common.
