On a loop

I had a dream where I woke up to screaming outside. I got up to make sure the door was locked, it wasn’t. When I went to lock the door half of my cat appeared underneath it trying to get in. She was stuck between the door and screen door. I opened it to let her in and then locked the door. Then I woke up. And even though it was a dream I decided to check the door. The same thing happened. Then I woke up. Now I was lucid so I was aware of myself and what I was doing, but I never knew that I was dreaming until I locked the door This went on for too freaking long The dream was so realistic I was sure I was awake at some points.
