I’m on the shore of the beach and it’s high tide. I came to this beach away from the resort I was staying at to get away from everyone. There is one other man on the beach, and he is just minding his business sunbathing. I set up my things but the water is coming pretty close and I wonder when it will recede. I relax for a while and then I look back and see my mom is set up far behind me with a towel and an umbrella. She is shocked to see me there, and says she came to get away too. We laid in the sun and chatted and then went to dinner with the family.
