Nightmare

Nightmare. Real bad one. Dreamt of me laying with Hubs, trying to get rest. Kept hearing whispers out in the hall. As I’d drift in the dream, it would keep showing us on the bed but then the imagery would move. First it showed a hallway with shadows of people moving towards us. I awoke in the dream to our room again. Then I’d drift again. Next was a door with a hand reaching out. I’d awake again in the room by Hubs. Then I’d drift again. In the final drift it showed us in a diff bed, image panning over us through an open doorway, through a kitchen, towards a hallway with a shadow of a long rickety arm reaching out. I kept trying to wake up in the dream. Kept screaming “wake me up, please wake me up” over and over till i finally fully awoke and Hubs helped get me away from the bed. Pretty sure the fireworks induced the nightmare.
